Focus Medical Group Inc. is an independent manufacturer’s representative in the business of marketing and sales of surgical microscopes, directly related products, and specialty related technologies. Our customers include hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and other patient care facilities. Currently, the company is contracted with the following leading manufacturers of medical products: Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc., Vycor Medical, Cuda Surgical, Kurz Medical Inc., and Olsen Medical, Inc. FMG is certified to conduct business in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. The company was organized and incorporated under the laws of the State of Ohio on July 3, 2001.

James C. Vasko, the company’s president, oversees the marketing, sales, and personnel recruitment portion of the business. Mr. Vasko has over twenty-five years of sales and management experience in the medical sales industry. FMG’s business model and philosophy is to “focus” on professional representation of notable quality manufacturers of microsurgical equipment and products. We will strive to deliver consistent high performing sales results for our select partners.

Patricia R. Kimnach is the company’s Chief Financial Officer responsible for overseeing the financial and human resources management portion of the business. She is a Certified Public Accountant with over twenty years of corporate and private business management experience.

Pam Friedman is the company’s Operations Manager responsible for organizing and managing sales administration and customer service. Her duties include quote preparation, product delivery / installation coordination, purchase order processing, inventory management, sales assistance, general customer service, and meeting / travel arrangements.

The FMG sales team consist of seven Area Managers covering six territories as listed below:

     
      • J.D. Vasko: Northeast Ohio (Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Toledo).
      • Donna Panetta: Area Manager for Indiana
      • Kevin Gallagher: Area Manager for Kentucky and West Virginia
      • Ryan Mikulich: Area Manager for Eastern Michigan (Detroit, Ann Arbor, Warren).

      • Matt Vasko: Area Manager for Western Michigan (Kalamazoo, Jackson,Grand Rapids) Northern Indiana: South Bend.
Matt attended Bowling Green State University. At BGSU he placed first out of 60+ schools in the National Collegiate Sales Competition.  Following college he worked at Skycasters LLC in Akron, OH selling commercial satellite equipment and connectivity.  In his spare time Matt enjoys traveling, working out, cooking, watching sports, and managing his fantasy football teams. Matt resides is Kalamazoo, Michigan.  He covers the West Michigan / North Indiana territory for FMG. with his dog Bruce and remains an avid Cleveland sports fan.

      • Dave Weals: Area Manager for Central Ohio (Columbus and Dayton).

      • Scott Leube: Area Manager for Northeast Ohio: Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, Sandusky, Mansfield.
Born and raised in the Cleveland area, Scott currently lives in Avon Lake with his wife and three daughters. He is a graduate from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and has over 13 years of experience selling surgical devices and capital equipment. 

      Brian Gallagher: Area Manager for Southern Ohio: Cincinnati
Brian has an expertise in sales, installation and service of surgical and diagnostic instruments and optical equipment in the fields of Microsurgery, Endoscopy, Surgical Video and Documentation. Brian has held positions with prominent manufacturers such as ACMI, Medtronic and Leica. Brian attended the University of Cincinnati and received a BBA Marketing. Brian resides with his family in Cincinnati. His hobbies include family life, gardening, skiing, and an occasional round of golf.

The surgical specialties of emphasis for FMG sales activity are; neurosurgery, ENT, plastic & reconstructive, and ophthalmology.
