What is Medical Video Producer® (MVP)?
MVP is a video editing and production software package that eliminates the confusion and guesswork often associated with editing video. Image Stream Medical (ISM) understands that most physicians do not have the time or inclination to discover all of the nuances of digital video editing, and would rather spend their time treating patients, not mastering the skills required to create great looking video for presentations. With this in mind, ISM teamed up with a group of surgeons to create a solution that made video editing for documenting
procedures easy and foolproof. This collaborative effort resulted in the creation of MVP.

With MVP’s intuitive easy to understand workflow, physicians can be creating broadcast quality video clips in minutes, eliminating the hours of hands on experience required to get  acceptable results from many professional and consumer level video editing software packages. And since MVP will function on most current PCs, there is no need to buy additional dedicated video editing equipment.

Once the edits are complete, MVP provides users with numerous options for export, including the ability to integrate high quality video into a PowerPoint® presentation with a single mouse click.

Who Uses MVP?
MVP is suitable for use by any physician with the need to extract sections of clinical video for use as training material or for inclusion in a presentation. Specialties that have made use of the editing capabilities of MVP include: gastrointestinal, cardiac, general, gynecologic, neurological, ophthalmic, orthopedic, otolaryngologic and plastic surgery.

Often times a portion of video from an unusual case can illustrate a finding with better accuracy than words alone. With so many different formats of digital video available and a whole new vocabulary to learn in order to create digital video, it can get confusing.
