• Safe Power Shutdown feature – provides sufficient power that in the event of a power loss, the nStream+ device will shutdown properly

• Benefits
– Prevents ‘Data in Quarantine’
– Reduces Windows® errors
– Increases reliability of the nStream+ product family

• Operation
– Loss of power causes StreamGuard to start.
– Audible alarm indicates power needs to be restored.
– If power is restored in less than 10 seconds, nStream+ devices continue to operate
– If power is not restored, all patient files are closed, application closes and system safely shuts down
